Welcome to Poppy Photography! I am so glad you are here! My name is Alana and I'm a natural light photographer in the greater Milwaukee area. I started my photography journey five years ago when my husband and I started to talk about having kids. I knew I would be the momma who wanted to document every little moment of our growing family. I figured what better time to invest in learning the art of photography. Well, fast-forward a few years and my little idea turned into something bigger and better than I could have ever imagined. Photographing not only my family, but my clients and theirs' has been one of my greatest joys!

 

In addition to photography, I teach part-time and mom full-time to the sweetest little guy ;). I think it goes without being said, that photographing families with littles is so much fun to me. In my free time you'll find me on the boat with my husband, son, and goldendoodle (when the Wisconsin weather allows), being active, and spending quality time with the ones I love most!
